My father has a t-mobile mobile phone that needed to be unlocked. He ordered the neccessary information online and they sent him an e-mail. Nothing fancy so far.

They were sending him a mail telling him the needed number and that the instructions were attached. The attachmed was a ms-word document!

So we tried to unlock the phone and the code was wrong. We tried it a second time and then noticed that the code was too short. The instructions said it should be 8 digits long, but it was only 7 digits long. My father called the hotline and they told him it would be a known bug. Their Software strips leading zeros. Great.
